Estructure provided structural engineering services for conversion of the decommissioned Sutter Health CPMC Davies hospital to a new behavioral health facility for inpatient and outpatient services. The $21M project included modifications to the original 1968 concrete structure creating new outdoor areas and enlarged window openings for patient treatment and comfort. The roof was strengthened to accommodate a new mechanical equipment platform. Estructure worked collaboratively with the design team and contractor for the complete architectural and MEP upgrade to satisfy HCAI’s requirements for acute psychiatric services.
