Maryann Phipps served as lead technical consultant for the update of FEMA E74, Reducing the Risks of Nonstructural Earthquake Damage – A Practical Guide. FEMA E74 explains the sources of earthquake damage that can occur in nonstructural components and provides information on effective methods for reducing potential risks associated with nonstructural earthquake damage. Estructure and the development team were awarded the SEAONC 2012 Excellence in Structural Engineering Award of Excellence in the Research category.
