This project involves construction of 260,000 sf of office, classroom and retail space for the University of California Berkeley(UCB) Campus.  The structure, designed by Nishkian Menninger, consists of post-tensioned concrete floors and special reinforced concrete shear walls supported on a combination of spread footings and mat slabs with micropiles. Estructure provided peer review services throughout all phases of design and participated in review by the UCB Seismic Review Committee. The peer review process was collaborative in nature and enhanced the overall project quality.
