Estructure provided structural engineering services for the relocation of UCSF Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital to the 7th floor of Mount Zion Hospital. The $34M project fully renovated and modernized the original 1965 and 1978 hospital wings for new inpatient and outpatient services. The project included new dedicated HVAC equipment on rooftop steel platforms and modifications to the existing structure for new egress pathways, an outdoor patient area, and MEP distribution systems. Estructure worked collaboratively with the design team and contractor for the complete architectural and MEP upgrade without disruption of acute care services in the floors below.
