The project consisted of decommissioning two existing UCSF generators, installing and testing a temporary generator and installing two new 750 MW Caterpillar diesel generators within the existing hospital. Included within the project scope was the installation of new electrical busways, radiators, all associated exhaust flues, supply and return water piping, automatic transfer switches, switchgear units, annunciation panel boards, fuel oil piping, fuel oil pumping equipment and all controls. Estructure provided complete structural engineering services throughout all phases of this complex project and was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by UCSF for Outstanding Achievements and Successful Completion of the project.
