Sarah Durphy, S.E.
Sarah Durphy has 18 years of experience designing new buildings and evaluating existing structures for seismic resistance. Her work has focused on providing superior seismic performance of hospital, school, and university lab buildings and their contents. Sarah is registered as a Structural Engineer in California and as a Professional Engineer in Minnesota where she lives. She is passionate about structural engineer emergency response and has served as a structural specialist for FEMA’s Urban Search and Rescue program, as well as vice chair for the Minnesota Structural Engineer’s Association SEER Committee.
