Darrick Hom has over 25 years of structural engineering experience in seismic evaluation, analysis, design and bracing of nonstructural components and code development. He provides creative and efficient engineering solutions to a wide range of facilities across California, with extensive experience in hospital renovation projects. Darrick is an active participant in the structural engineering community, including as a committee member to develop seismic evaluation and retrofit standards for the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and having served as President of the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California (SEAONC). For over 20 years he has mentored high school students through the non-profit group Engineers Alliance for the Arts (EAA) in their Student Impact Project. He has also served as a board member for EAA. He also mentors graduate engineering students at the University of California Berkeley. Darrick has been inducted into the College of Fellows of both SEAONC and the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC).
